This second ride of the Romantic Rhine tour offers 225 km of scenic beauty as you travel west of Rüdesheim through lush forests, the quiet Mosel Valley, and picturesque towns that showcase Germany’s charm. Beginning with a peaceful ride through the hills, this route takes you alongside the Mosel River, famous for its vineyards and meandering curves. A highlight is the lunch stop in Cochem, where the stunning Reichsburg Castle overlooks the town, inviting you to explore its medieval streets and cozy taverns. On the way back, we’ll follow the Rhine with stops in Bacharach, one of the Rhine’s most beautiful medieval towns, before returning to Rüdesheim by ferry.
