Ride 1 of the Volcanoes of the Auvergne tour is going South of Clermont-Ferrand, diving into the Parc Naturel Regional des Volcans d’Auvergne. And the ride will pas an impressive fortress, the Puy de Montchal and circling aroung the massive Puy de Sancy. The stops are in picturesque mountain towns and the ride will ending at the foot of one of the most famous volcanoes in this area: the Puye de Dome. So 200 km / 125 miles to fully enjoy this part of the Massif Central!
